Lichfield District Council is seeking the views of residents on the new Local Plan. The consultation will be open until the 11th of December. You are invited to review the proposed summary and respond to the five questions provided or complete the more detailed questionnaire.

There is a proposal to install a pipeline to take treated discharge from sewage works at Measham and Packington in North West Leicestershire to the River Trent. The route of the pipeline is not yet finalised and may no longer be taken along the Mease Valley but be taken to the Tame at Elford; land surveys are currently taking place. Further information will be passed on when we receive it but there has been no consultation with Parish Councils so far.
