Less than 3 weeks now until we expect the Judges to do their first visit. Please do whatever you can to keep the village tidy. No matter how small, if we all do a little bit we can make a real difference. Read on to find out how YOU can help!
Visit Lichfield has a photo competition. Why not enter a photo of Edingale in the Spring?
Report incidents to the police on https://www.staffordshire.police.uk/ which may be quicker than phoning 101
Please let us know if you'd like the Parish Council to purchase these for you:
A Hedgehog Highway is a 5 inch gap in a fence and is essential in the battle to prevent the extinction
of our endangered spiky friends. This gap allows them access to forage for food and meet mates.
Edingale will soon make our entry and judging will again start from 1st of May, we are hoping for another successful year!
Help is needed again with litter picking and tidying the village. Why not start by helping with the Village Hall AGM and Community Clean up on 23rd March?
Go to the Environment Agency website for flood alerts, information and maps, you can also subscribe to alerts by phone, text or email.
Edingale Parish Council politely asks householders with hedges to trim off any briars or growths that are spreading over the footpaths
It is becoming a problem for some villagers to walk along past some of the overgrowing bushes.
There have been reports of dog poo left on the footpaths by inconsiderate owners recently, a few are spoiling the village paths by not clearing up!
Lichfield District Council will fine offenders if you report 'hotspots' to them.
Welcome to another year of Edingale Village Hall events, we are a registered Charity run by a volunteer Management group. We have organised lots of events, catering for young and old and would like to thank everyone for their support last year. Attached is a list of planned events for 2024.
Details of the Parish Council's precept and budget for the next financial year have now been agreed.
